Richard is a Chartered Accountant and also a member of the Production Guild. He started his own accountancy practice in the 1980s and has provided accountancy and taxation services to an extensive number of clients over the years. Richard has a particular specialism in film, television and other media but also deals with charities, owner-managed companies of all types and sizes and personal taxation.
David Hitchcock
After 15 years as an A&R man and record producer David trained as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG, qualifying in 1986. He then joined Ernst & Young’s Entertainment Group looking after artists, record labels and performing royalty audits. In 1992 he left to look after the financial affairs of the members of Monty Python and their various companies. In 1994 he founded his own business management company, DBM Ltd, to focus on advising bands, songwriters, producers and managers on personal and corporate tax, accountancy and any other aspects of their business as required. Tansy Diplock joined him there in 1996. They teamed up to co-found FMTV London in January 2015 in order to provide a range of services and expertise to their clients.

Tansy has over 2 decades experience working in the music industry. Starting her career working for record labels and recording studios in the early 1990s, she first teamed up with David Hitchcock’s DBM Ltd in 1996. As a Director of DBM Ltd, she provided business management for bands, producers, songwriters and managers and she continues this at FMTV. Her clients include emerging artists and headline acts and her services range from day to day business management to international touring.
